10 years of research, I’m sharing my story.
It is now over 10 years now since I was shocked when it was confirmed I was diabetic. I had no idea what Type 2 diabetes was. I had not been aware of any of the symptoms that would have caused me to think there was anything wrong with me.
I certainly was not ill. I exercised regular we ate healthy food (or so I believed.) In retrospect, I did perhaps drink more units of alcohol than is recommended and I was a touch overweight.
I also do have a sweet tooth and perhaps have always found it difficult to resist some deserts, cookies, cake and sugary snacks. But after checking Type 2 diabetes on Google, I did not like what I saw about the possible later affects of it. I thought at least I can start to reduce some of the sweet foods to see if it could make a difference.
I researched and checked so many so called experts advice. Most were charlatans just after making money from other peoples misery. So I put together a free information website www.easy-special-health-recipes.com to provide easier, healthier meals for those with diabetic and others with certain eating disorders.
In the last three years, there have been diabetes tests programs in the US and UK that have shown that blood sugar in diabetics and can be stabilized and even reversed in some patients.
There have been claims reversal can be achieved in a matter of days with a program consisting of a very low calorie diet and energy-burning exercising which I did try to incorporate into what I called my pathway to reversing Type 2 diabetes.
That didn’t work for me. I was so hungry and I couldn’t sleep. The exercises were so tiring. I was to exhausted to work and I felt wrecked and weak.
It was a bit like going on a drastic diet. Most of these programs can work over the short term, but they don’t work long term because they don’t allow for time out or the occasional lapse.
However, I knew that if I could put together the correct protocols, a planned food program with simple easy exercises that could be incorporated into my daily life and still give time out that would not be restrictive for my family or my work. I knew now that my reversal program to work for me it would have to blend into my normal daily lifestyle without it imposing extra strain or hardship.
Early in February 2016, my own blood sugar test machine results confirmed my program had succeeded but would my low sugar level continue. The lower levels stayed lower and stabilized.
In September 2016, my doctors surgery diabetic medical teams blood tests confirmed my sugar levels had reduced to below that even of a pre-diabetic level. I had reversed my Type 2 diabetes and it had remained low and stable.
Medical tests in April 2017 confirm my Type 2 reversal. Now my program is now a normal lifestyle which I will continue without any major difficulties or interruptions to my family, work or social lifestyle for the rest of my life. I will be free from diabetes.
Now I can show others how I reversed my Type 2 diabetes, and if I can do it, you can too.
There have been a number of improvements to help type 2 diabetes reduce their blood sugar levels to normal none diabetic status including in media coverage and academic papers on the low calorie diet, as well as case studies and successful clinical trials of reducing T2diabetes to a normal range.
Professor Roy Taylor at Newcastle University has proven case studies of T2 sufferers reducing their blood sugar levels to normal in as little as 11 days with very low-calorie diet.
This news information is taken from the UK Charity Diabetes UK.
The study is called DIRECT, short for Diabetes Remission Clinical Trial, and it could completely change the way Type 2 diabetes is treated in the future. They show that it’s possible for some people to put their Type 2 diabetes into remission using a low-calorie, diet-based, weight management program, delivered by their GP. Almost half (45.6 per cent) of those who took part in the program were in remission after a year.
Dr Jason Fung is a Canadian nephrologist, has taken special interest in obesity and diabetes. He has pioneered the use of therapeutic fasting regimens for weight loss and type 2 diabetes control with great success,he has a membership program you pay for, as well as personalize coaching program.
Whether you wish to take up a low calorie diet based type of program similar to Prof Taylor, or therapeutic fasting regiments of Dr Fung there is plenty of choice now that can work to lower your diabetic blood sugar levels to normal.
The new discovery of 4 separate types of diabetes published in January 2018 clearly indicates that a T2diabetic needs personalized and individual treatment to defeat diabetes hopefully this latest Swedish discovery will lead to better T2 treatments in the near future.( I have included a complete page called Diabetes New Discovery on this website.)
My major diabetes control difficulty when searching for a treatment pathway to rid myself of my diabetes was to devise a plan and program that would fit into my daily life when I am not at home, living out of a suitcase is not the ideal way to keep to a regime of healthy diet and exercises to reduce my diabetes.
I put together and tried lots so called cure diabetes methods without success before I was able to put together my pathway to beating T2diabetes.
It is forgiving and adaptable of some of the indulgences I have to feed myself on when away from home. But it is also easy, simple and practicable and slower than the strict diet regimes and exhaustive exercise programs and it works for me and others I have helped.
Let me give you a little insight and example;-
We all know the amount of sugar in the foods we eat is a major culprit to developing our T2 diabetes, but did you know that there is over 30 different names for sugar that most of us do not recognize as just sugar.
The main ones are Galactose,Lactose,Glucose,Maltose,Sucrose and many more and many more like corn syrup the put in manufactured foods. Why there are so many names for sugar one can only surmise it is to hid how much sugar is put into our foods. The one we recognize is granulate sugar we use by the spoonful this is the one you start your day with and it is the easiest one to cut down, reduce to one spoonful in your coffee or on your morning breakfast cereals or in anything.
Do not try to do a cold turkey by cutting it to zero sugar all at once,(that don’t work) you will get a negative body reaction and begin cravings especially at night time. Do this cutting down exercise slowly over a week or two months it doesn’t matter you have to kid your body slowly so it does not realise you are cutting it out.
If you take 3 spoons of sugar reduce it to one over time say a month and then down to zero over more time that way your body gets used to less sugar without a negative reaction and your on your pathway.
Once you have achieve this stage you can start on drinking less sodas and sugary drinks and then alternative more healthy types of foods we can help you with. By using less sugar saturated foods you didn’t realise contained these different forms of sugar it will not be long before the day will arrive you will stand on the scales and see you have lost weight not a lot but its a success you have a good result that will encourage you to carry on to win this battle with diabetes.
You will need more help training on what and how to reduce and what to eat and simple constructive exercise but success is in sight.
If you want to lower your blood sugar to normal and loose weight naturally at the same time.
